As the Carmines approached retirement age, its mythical status only increased. In the early 2000s, the Air Jordan 6 was highly sought after for its unique design and limited availability. It wasn’t until 2008 that Jordan Brand decided to bring back the shoes as part of the prestigious Countdown Package series. In 2014, it was re-released as a standalone Retro. Keeping true to its original design and materials, the Air Jordan 6 “Carmine” now features Nike Air on the heel for the first time since 1991. With a release date of February 13th, 2021 and a price tag of $200, these shoes are expected to sell out as soon as they hit the shelves. Check out the detailed look at the shoes below and stay tuned for updates leading up to the release.
